Job summary

1 O.C. Tanner Company is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem in a fast-paced business environment. You will secure access, configure data models, and deliver impactful reports and dashboards while building flows and automation to reduce manual work.

You will partner with GTM teams, IT, and business stakeholders to implement reliable, scalable solutions, maintain data integrity, and support deployments across sandbox and production environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce administration in a business environment.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security, data model, declarative configuration, reports and dashboards, and release practices.
• Experience building and supporting Salesforce Flow or comparable workflow automation.
• Interest in learning AI-assisted tools and emerging Salesforce capabilities.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, webhooks, data movement, and cross-system troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate business needs into configuration, automation, integration, reporting, or process improvements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance user needs with security, privacy, data quality, governance, and long-term supportability.
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, or related GTM processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Salesforce for the business.
• Manage security, access, roles, profiles, and permission sets with least-privilege.
• Configure objects, fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.
• Monitor system health, licenses, integrations, and scheduled jobs.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and document resolutions.
• Support sandbox management, testing, releases, and deployment validation.
• Build automation and explore AI and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline GTM workflows and reduce manual tasks.
• Create and maintain Flow and other approved automations.
• Coordinate with Integration Engineers and platform owners on interface changes.
• Document data flows, dependencies, and escalation paths.
• Assist with data imports/exports, deduplication, and data reconciliation.
• Maintain security, privacy, and governance alignment.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint work, and status communication.
