Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources in Indianapolis is seeking a Sales & Use Tax Manager to join our tax team and report to the VP of Tax. This role focuses on indirect tax and offers growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns, maintaining the tax calendar, updating tax charts, reconciling payments to GL accounts, and resolving notices from local authorities. A CPA or advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Masters in tax and/or CPA preferred.
• Experience with sales and use tax compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
• Maintain the Sales and Use Tax calendar.
• Assist in updating sales and use tax charts.
• Reconcile sales/use tax payments to GL accounts.
• Resolve tax notices from local taxing authorities.
• Various related duties as needed.
