Job summary

Talent Corps seeks a Sales Trainer to develop and deliver programs that strengthen the capabilities and performance of the sales organization in Texas. You will partner with sales leadership to identify gaps, reinforce processes and tools, and provide practical training that supports business development, client relationships, and revenue growth.

Travel to Talent Corps locations as needed to train new hires and field teams, while continuously improving programs based on feedback and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent post-secondary education required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One or more years of experience in sales, sales training, or a related field with a sound understanding of established sales procedures and systems.
  • Staffing and recruiting agency experience strongly preferred; experience within the skilled trades or construction staffing industry is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting the work and development of others.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
  • Ability to analyze performance and learning needs and translate findings into practical training solutions.
  • Proven ability to hold self and others accountable to commitments, standards, expectations, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable with adult learning methods and delivering training in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities.
  • Ability to learn and effectively train others on sales technology, systems, processes, and tools.
  • Ability to travel to Talent Corps branch locations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs focused on sales processes, prospecting, business development, client relationships, service offerings, tools, and systems.
  • Support onboarding and development of new Account Managers and sales professionals by providing structured training, coaching, and reinforcement of Talent Corps expectations and processes.
  • Review performance and competency information to identify skill gaps and recommend training priorities that support individual and organizational performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and practical development to strengthen prospecting, communication, relationship-building, objection handling, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor training participation, progress, and performance standards to determine whether training is producing measurable improvements and identify areas requiring additional development.
  • Ensure sales employees understand and consistently follow established sales processes, systems, tools, reporting requirements, and company procedures.
  • Evaluate existing training programs, materials, and delivery methods and recommend improvements that increase consistency, effectiveness, and measurable business impact.
  • Partner with Sales, Recruiting, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, IT, and leadership to ensure training remains aligned with company processes, systems, and business priorities.
  • Manage training schedules, assignments, and follow-up activities to ensure learning requirements are completed within established timelines.
  • Travel to Talent Corps locations as needed to support new hires, provide hands-on training and coaching, and reinforce consistent sales execution across the organization.

Job description

The Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that strengthen the capabilities, consistency, and performance of the Talent Corps sales organization. This role partners with sales leadership to identify skill and performance gaps, reinforce sales processes and tools, and provide practical training that supports business development, client relationships, and revenue growth. The Sales Trainer continuously evaluates training effectiveness and adjusts programs to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Training Design & Delivery: Develop and deliver training programs focused on sales processes, prospecting, business development, client relationships, service offerings, tools, and systems.
  • New Hire Training & Development: Support the onboarding and development of new Account Managers and sales professionals by providing structured training, coaching, and reinforcement of Talent Corps expectations and processes.

  • Training Coordination: Manage training schedules, assignments, and follow-up activities to ensure learning requirements are completed within established timelines.
  • Branch & Field Support: Travel to Talent Corps locations as needed to support new hires, provide hands‑on training and coaching, and reinforce consistent sales execution across the organization.
