Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a full-time, commission-based Insurance Agent to sell and service a broad portfolio of farm, crop, auto, homeowners, life and health products. The role requires active Georgia licenses or pursuing licensure and involves community networking to grow membership.

You will meet quarterly sales and retention goals while providing trusted guidance, analyzing client needs, and ensuring accurate policy documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• License required: Georgia Property/Casualty & Life/Health Insurance exams.
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental, and meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Adhere to strategic and service goals and deliver high-quality service.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze needs, and recommend solutions.
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
• Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
• Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote GFB and GFBMIC through local advertising and community involvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
