Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and our sales process through formal training and hands-on learning. You will be exposed to all areas of the business and receive specialized training before transitioning into a sales role.

In this role you will rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes, building knowledge across product lines and the end-to-end flow of Graybar’s operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2- or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
