Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Sales Trainee to prepare for roles as Account Representative or Customer Service Representative. The training lasts up to 12 months, during which the Trainee shadows sales and service staff and gains experience in product lines and the customer base.

The role includes warehouse time to learn shipping, inventory, and delivery processes, plus online and satellite classes led by the Training Department.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree preferably in Industrial Distribution or related field.

Responsibilities

• Participates and succeeds in company sponsored training classes.
• Develops competent presentation skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Trains in all levels of a branch including, but not limited to: inside sales (customer service representative), outside sales (account representative), inventory, delivery, warehouse, and administrative.
