Job summary

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (FW&GS Store) in Hummelstown is hiring a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2). The role leads a shift, guides clerks, and supports daily store operations while delivering high‑quality customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will train staff, handle sales using a computerized cash register, manage stock, and create displays. Telework is not available; 75 hours biweekly and state employment benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk or six months of retail sales work.
• PA residency requirement and ability to perform essential job functions.
• Background check required for employment in state service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and guide other clerks to ensure smooth store operations.
• Help customers locate products, resolve issues, and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Process sales on a computerized cash register and manage transactions.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build product displays.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance on store policies and procedures.
• Prepare shift reports for accounting, cash management, and inventory.
