Job summary

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) for our FW&GS Store in Hummelstown. You will guide a team of clerks, support daily store operations, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment while processing sales and maintaining displays.

Role requires prior liquor store or retail experience, customer service excellence, and the ability to lead and train staff. Onsite work with standard shifts; no telework option.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months as Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent)
• 6 months of retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Ensure smooth store operations providing guidance to other clerks and participating in store work
• Customer Service: Help shoppers locate products, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a positive store environment
• Sales Processing: Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build product displays
• Staff Training: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to less experienced staff on store policies and procedures
• Report Completion: Prepare shift reports for accounting, cash management, and inventory
