BlueStar, Inc. is seeking a Sales Team Lead to manage daily account operations, support service excellence, and drive improvements across partnerships. You will coordinate with teammates, customer contacts, product teams, and vendors to move work forward, resolve escalations, and support growth goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer service or account management, with previous team leadership, strong communication, and a focus on process optimization to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations for National Team Accounts in the absence of the Sales Account Manager.
  • Create, develop, and improve team processes that streamline workflow and produce consistent results.
  • Maintain and update best-practice, workflow, and instruction documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer agreements, including partnership requirements and RFP line agreements.
  • Manage open order reports, mitigating backlog through allocation, and reviewing external orders to support timely invoicing.
  • Partner with headcounts to ensure opportunities are driven to BlueStar.
  • Resolve customer escalations in a timely manner when the Sales Account Manager is unavailable.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of vendor products, programs, policies, and value-added services.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of BlueStar programs, policies, procedures, and value-added services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with BlueStar teammates and key vendor contacts to enhance the Insight relationship.
  • Resolve accounting and invoice issues for accounts in a timely manner.
  • Manage team workflow to ensure timely responses, follow-up, and customer support.
  • Support large opportunities by managing rollouts and stock requests, including price exceptions and quoting.
  • Help maintain relationships with opportunities and representatives bringing business to BlueStar.
  • Review RMAs promptly and help resolve related issues.
  • Enter and process orders through EDI, online systems, fax, and email.
  • Check item availability, confirm stock, and troubleshoot order issues.
  • Handle inbound customer calls and coordinate in-house promotions.
  • Develop and coach the support team to improve overall customer support performance.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions as needed.
  • Review team results quarterly to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Self-study product materials and attend in-house training to stay current on product offerings.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and customer relationship.

Job Description

BlueStar, Inc. is looking for an organized, customer-focused Sales Team Lead to help manage daily account operations, support customer service excellence, and drive operational improvements across the partnership. Essential responsibilities include

Operations and Account Support
