Job summary

Global Industrial Company in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a proactive Sales Support associate to assist the sales team with quotes, orders, and customer communications. You will cover reps when out of the office and handle service issues with timely follow-up.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Regular in-office attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales support experience preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Attend Sales Excellence Team meetings to understand needs and initiatives.
• Provide customer support by covering reps when out of office.
• Enter and process quotes, orders, POs, and communicate status.
• Handle customer service issues and follow up within 24 hours.
• Resolve deal desk and shipping requests.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate internal department.
• Answer requests from sellers via their queue.
• Assist with bids (RFP/RFQ).
• Provide support to resolve sales-related issues promptly.
• Expedite and follow through on rush requests from customers.
• Answer inbound emails and inquiries from customers.
• Work in a team environment to support customer experience.
