As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in helping our Group Benefits sales team thrive by managing the operations behind the scenes so they can focus on what they do best: closing deals and serving clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support our Group Benefits sales team with a strong mix of operations, coordination, and strategic insight, including:
- Administrative and Operational Support - manages scheduling, travel, calendars, and deadlines for the sales team, serves as the main contact for meeting and event coordination, and handles expenses and payment processing.
- Assists with preparing accurate quotes, assembling proposal documents, and ensuring timely delivery to brokers or clients
- CRM and Sales Tool Management - ensures a clean, actionable pipeline by maintaining accurate CRM data, updating lead statuses, tracking client progress, and providing recommendations to advance opportunities.
- Event and Training Coordination - supports the VP’s sales events by coordinating logistics, managing event calendars, liaising with vendors and speakers, assisting with broker and client events (like webinars and trade shows), tracking RSVPs and registrations, handling post-event follow-ups and feedback reports, monitoring outcomes such as leads or action items, and managing all related event expenses.
- Content Creation and Coordination - creates and customizes content and presentations for prospects and clients, collaborates with marketing, generates client-specific reports, and provides data insights to support the VP’s planning and reviews.
- Lead sourcing and research - identifies and researches leads, prepares proposals and follow-ups, and helps sales leaders maintain a clean, actionable pipeline.
WHAT YOU BRING
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering operational excellence. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 2+ years of experience in client services, sales support, or sales administration
- Prior experience in Group Benefits is preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with precision and professionalism
- Strong understanding of broker/partner dynamics and the ability to build collaborative relationships
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- High proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft PowerPoint, and related client management tools
- A self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems and supporting team goals
