Job summary

Ferguson is hiring Sales Support Representatives in Bakersfield, CA. This role supports customers and sales teams, handling quotations, orders, and deliveries. A strong customer-service mindset and the ability to upsell are key.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Starting pay ranges from $20.57 to $32.91 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses or incentive plans. Ferguson Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer and government contractor.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
• Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
• May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities
• This role includes training in the warehouse, yard and at the sales counter

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in Waterworks, Construction or other trades is a plus
• Valid state issued driver's license required
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes

Pay Range

$20.57 - $32.91

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
