Job summary

The Odom Corporation in Renton, WA is seeking a Sales Representative to support the Grocery Store team. You will cover vacations on sales routes and provide ongoing service for each account while following safety policies.

Responsibilities include maximizing sales, presenting products, processing orders, and maintaining in-store merchandising and promotions. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in beverage sales or merchandising preferred; knowledge of local market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales through pre-planning and executing daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
• Make persuasive presentations, answer questions, overcome objections, and present proposals.
• Display products and quote prices; solicit orders with current price book.
• Write orders, design displays, and organize on-site promotions.
• Understand and apply in-store merchandising principles; influence shelf and floor display guidelines.
• Keep products rotated, dusted, rebated, cleaned, and stocked.
• Maintain professional dress and safety standards.
