Summary/Overview:

The Sales Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the customer lease process for wireless communication facilities and related wireless equipment. This includes preparing candidate applications and related equipment exhibits, reviewing legal transaction documents, and managing related reports. This position will work closely with internal teams, external customers and vendors to ensure compliance and timely submission of applications to support ongoing projects. This position requires a deep understanding of telecommunications industry practices.

Summary/Overview:

The Sales Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the customer lease process for wireless communication facilities and related wireless equipment. This includes preparing candidate applications and related equipment exhibits, reviewing legal transaction documents, and managing related reports. This position will work closely with internal teams, external customers and vendors to ensure compliance and timely submission of applications to support ongoing projects. This position requires a deep understanding of telecommunications industry practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct and individual support for the administration of real estate agreements and the review and abstraction of information from lease agreements and similar contracts
  • Prepare and deliver both written and oral reports on overall project engagement, including progress, goals, risks, achievements, and potential jeopardies
  • Draft and proof transaction documents, including leases, exhibits, and other legal documents for review by the legal department
  • Monitor application progress, responding to requests for additional information or documentation during the approval process
  • Manage the collocation/amendment application process, ensuring timely progression through the Notice to Proceed (NTP) phase
  • Represent the company at meetings with carrier customers and vendors, ensuring accurate and timely submission of applications
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws while carrying out all responsibilities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both external partners and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • High attention to detail when managing documentation
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects/agreements in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Direct experience working in a cross-functional environment with both internal and external team members to ensure successful project completion


Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in site leasing processes with basic understanding of antenna systems and related carrier equipment
  • Proficient in preparing transaction documents, including leases, and collaborating with teams for document review
  • Experience in project management, with a focus on managing external vendors and ensuring timely execution of tasks and milestones
  • Experience with wireless communication facility installations, including familiarity with carrier equipment requirements specific to the telecommunications industry
  • Experience with leasing and contract review within the telecommunications industry
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing collocation applications and facilitating the process from initiation to Notice to Proceed (NTP)
