Job summary

Physicians Mutual is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to bolster our Agency team across the national distribution network. You’ll handle administrative tasks, coordinate case processing from application submission to policy delivery, and support sales leaders, agents and partners to grow our business.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in insurance or sales support, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Join Physicians Mutual as aSales Support Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Agency team and helping drive growth across our national distribution network. This is an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with relationship-building, while supporting sales leaders, agents and distribution partners.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Leaders & Agents – Provide comprehensive business support to Regional Sales Directors, Account Managers, Agency Principals, and Agents.
• Coordinate New Business Processing – Serve as case coordinator from application submission through policy delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Deliver Outstanding Service – Provide professional, high-quality service to policyholders, Agents, vendors and internal Home Office teams.
• Build Strong Relationships – Foster positive working relationships with Agents, Field Sales Management, Agency Principals, and support staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business Administration is a plus.
• 4 years of administrative experience, ideally in an insurance or sales support environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet applications and general PC use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and guide others effectively.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities; capable of managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and HIPAA privacy regulations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Physicians Mutual products, benefits and underwriting guidelines preferred.
