Job summary

Physicians Mutual Insurance Company, Inc. is seeking a Telesales Representative to connect with customers by phone and guide them through our trusted insurance options. This role emphasizes empathy, active listening, and a passion for helping people, with no license required upfront and training provided.

Your schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a starting pay of $20.81 per hour plus incentives and a $500 signing bonus after 90 days. Training begins Sept 28, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least a year of customer service or sales experience.
• One or more years of sales or customer service experience preferred
• Communicate naturally, listen actively, and genuinely care about helping others.
• Are confident with technology (PC and Phone technologies) and thrive in a team environment.
• Bring positive energy, professionalism, and heart to every interaction.
• You don’t need insurance experience — just a passion for people and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Connect with potential customers by phone (inbound and outbound).
• Educate and guide people through Physicians Mutual’s trusted insurance solutions.
• Work hand-in-hand with our Licensed Telesales Agents to ensure every customer feels cared for.
• Support marketing campaigns and follow up with warm leads — no high-pressure selling.
• Use modern tools (ACD, Predictive Dialer, IHP) to make your job efficient and enjoyable.
• Build lasting relationships and be a trusted voice for customers who need clarity and care.
