As Sales Support, you'll be part of our Centralized Customer Operations Team, providing top-level support to key customer accounts. You’ll play a vital role in delivering excellent service by managing orders, resolving issues, and partnering with sales teams and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Manage key customer accounts and support sales associates to ensure accurate order placement and timely follow-up.
Oversee the full order-to-fulfillment cycle, including freight and logistics, while resolving exceptions such as credit holds or inventory constraints.
Partner with Credit, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain, and Branch Managers to provide complete customer solutions.
Communicate with customers via phone and email—with future opportunities to support text and web-chat communication.
Handle customer service activities such as returns, invoicing, billing, backorders, and claims.
Support digital onboarding of customers onto our B2B platform.
Execute outbound calls for promotions or special projects.
Develop strong knowledge of SouthernCarlson’s product offerings to recommend solutions.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
Communicate exceptionally well—strong verbal and written skills with active listening and a customer-first mindset.

Are organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bring at least 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience (e-commerce and ERP experience a plus).
Are proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office; construction knowledge is helpful.
Can occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
