This is a fully in person position, located at our New York headquarters in the Tribeca Design District.

Responsibilities
  • Support for Sales Team: Assist the outside sales team with managing large contract and residential projects, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and providing proactive follow-up with clients.
  • Order Coordination: Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure both contract and residential orders are executed flawlessly, from order entry to delivery, including managing timelines, inventory availability, and special requests.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the secondary point of contact for clients, offering friendly, professional, and timely communication throughout the sales and order fulfillment process.
  • Order Documentation: Ensure all contract and residential orders are well-documented, providing clear and concise details for internal teams and clients.
  • System Management: Leverage Maiden Home\'s CRM and other software tools (e.g., Kustomer) to track order progress, update client records, and ensure accurate sales data is available for reporting and analysis.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert on Maiden Home’s product offerings, including details on materials, construction, design, and customization options to effectively support the sales team and provide resources to clients.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Assist in compiling and reviewing sales reports to track large contract and residential project performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve any order-related issues, discrepancies, or delays promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the operations, design, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end process for both contract and residential orders, providing support wherever necessary.
  • Trade Event Support: Assist with organizing and executing industry events, trade shows, and other sales-related initiatives as needed.
  • Inbound Project Scoping: Scope inbound large contract and residential projects or inquiries to evaluate client needs, ensuring the right products and services are matched, and then introduce the appropriate sales team members based on region and project specifics.
  • Inventory Management: Provide logistical assistance with product sit tests, vignette set ups etc.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in sales support, ideally in a luxury or high-end home furnishings environment. Experience with large contract orders is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively represent the brand voice.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, including the ability to assist with order fulfillment, client relations, and post-sale support.
  • Customer Focused: A client-first mentality with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests from design clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field preferred.
