We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Assistant to support the Director of Retail Marketing and Adult Field Sales. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within both departments under the Director's leadership. The role will also provide support to the Associate Director of Retail Marketing and the Independent Channel Sales Manager, as detailed in the Key Responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Support
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Retail Marketing and Adult Field Sales.
    • Manage key departmental tasks, schedules, and priorities to ensure workflows run smoothly.
    • Attend Sales and Retail Marketing department meetings, take detailed notes, and track action items for follow-up.
  2. Sales Support
    • Pull, organize, and analyze key data for weekly departmental meetings.
    • Prepare sales projections and goaling materials accurately and timely.
    • Create reports and presentation decks for quarterly reviews.
    • Assist the Sales Manager with seasonal selling materials, catalog verification, Edelweiss markups, and support account setup and reporting tasks.
  3. Marketing Support
    • Support logistics and planning for conferences, B2B events, and regional shows.
    • Assist in managing event requests, mailing campaigns, and database maintenance.
    • Coordinate account and author dinners with internal teams and external vendors.
  4. Additional Responsibilities
    • Serve as a resource for departmental needs and contribute to team initiatives.
    • Handle ad hoc tasks to support leadership and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and team-player attitude.
  • Familiarity with Edelweiss or similar systems is preferred but not required.
