Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking a Sales Support Associate to assist Sales Specialists and Outside Sales Representatives by processing orders and scheduling deliveries in a timely, accurate manner.

You will use MS Office to prepare quotes, coordinate with vendors, and help customers with building material needs. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a commitment to company growth and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter and place orders to assist Sales Specialists.
• Handle incoming service requests and schedule orders accordingly.
• Use software programs to make simple revisions or quotes on smaller projects.
• Ensure all sales orders are placed and delivered on time.
• Communicate with vendors for processing discounts on packages, model homes or conversions.
• Maintain open communication between Sales Specialists, Outside Sales Representatives and customers.

A Carter LumberSales Support Associate is responsible for the success of sales by assisting the Sales Specialists and Outside Sales Representative's with general sales and service activities within the assigned region. This is accomplished by processing orders and scheduling deliveries for sales in a timely and efficient manner. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities

• Assists Sales Specialists by entering and placing orders.
• Handles incoming servicesand schedules the orders accordingly.
• Ability to work withsoftware programs to make simple revisions or quote smaller projects.
• Ensures all sales orders are placed and delivered on time.
• Communicates with vendors for processing package, model home or conversion discounts.
• Keeps line of communication open between Sales Specialists, Outside Sales Representatives and customers to ensure that the services are processed in an accurate and in a timely manner.
• Identifies personal growth needs and improvement opportunities; seeks to obtain product information; learns about building packages and products.
• Completes required training and development courses.
