Qualifications

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Physical requirements: continuous movement 6–8 hours per shift, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds for Stock and Fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready and replenished throughout the day.
• Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online and mobile platforms; operate POS; bag items; assist with heavy items.
• Provide a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and returning clothing to the floor.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and properly ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment; adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards; promote Nordstrom Rewards.
• Receive, unload freight, fulfill and ship customer orders; use inventory systems to process merchandise shipments; maintain clean selling floors and stockrooms; support store events and backroom organization.
