Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is hiring for multiple roles at Nordstrom Rack in a fast-paced setting. You will help customers find deals, assist with transactions and keep the floor runway-ready through merchandising and stock support.

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and guiding them to fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Motivate and inspire others to adopt Nordstrom Rewards initiatives.
• Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes with proper ticketing.
• Ensure the sales floor stays ready through re-merchandising and straightening.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions in a seamless, friendly manner.
• Demonstrate expertise with technologies used in the store environment.
• Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following packing standards.
• Utilize inventory systems to scan, process and research shipments.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, e.g., set up events, organize backroom, markdowns, fixtures relocation.
