Job summary

Universal Processing LLC (uP) in New York is seeking a Sales Specialist who will serve as the brand ambassador, generating leads and presenting our payment solutions to potential merchants. The role focuses on meeting client needs, closing sales, and expanding the merchant base in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The position offers paid training, uncapped commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.
• Full bilingual proficiency in Mandarin-Chinese OR Vietnamese OR Spanish is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales experience required.
• Previous experience in the Merchant Service industry is an asset.
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently and driven by results.

Responsibilities

• Generates leads, conduct cold-calls, and prospect potential clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings to determine customer needs, presents customized payment, merchant financing and marketing solutions.
• Perform pricing analysis by assessing clients’ payment processing statements, and initiates proposals accordingly.
• Follow up with potential merchants by reviewing products and services features, benefits, and terms.
• Close sales in a timely and effective manner.
• Navigate potential lead sources; develops and maintains new lead sources.
• Develop new sales opportunities within the existing client base.
• Build and maintain relationships with referrals and affiliates.
• Create and develop marketing programs to increase sales.

Compensation:

This is an exempt position, with a monthly salary of $4,500 during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the base rate will increase to $5,000 per month. This is asales position.
