Job description

Bio-Rad is seeking aResinSales Specialist (f,m,d) for our Process Chromatography Business Unit, to target Down Stream Process customers that range from early-stage non GMP operations to late stage GMP manufacturing across Northern, Central, & Eastern Europe. You will be nurturing leads over the full customer product lifecycle, creating & building relationships, able to trouble shoot on DSP challenges, and act as the subject matter expert To-Go for resin chromatography in your sales territory. You will be part of a resilient, tenacious team who work closely together in order to fulfil high customer satisfaction levels and as a consequence set sales targets.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Consult customers in method development, give advice how to use resin media, troubleshoot DSP processes and optimize separations workflows.
  • Maintain a high level of customer interaction through regular sales meetings, build new relationships.
  • Build your own profile as the DSP resin expert To-Go in your sales territory, develop the territory by effectively planning, forecasting and management of the business in line with the agreed strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and organize customer seminars, workshops, roadshows, represent the company at exhibitions, arrange post-sales field assistance, providing solutions to applicative problems with support from Field Application Specialists.
  • Support the OTC process from quoting, order intake up to delivery and invoicing, travel required up to 25 -40%.

What You Bring:

  • PhD/MS Degree in Chemistry, Bio-Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or comparable.
  • Extensive industry related process chromatography experience with at least 3 years of hands-on or selling as resin experts in this market for 5 years is a prerequisite, some years of professional sales experience is a preference, but not critical
  • In depth knowledge of Chromatography techniques, hands-on experience in pharmaceutical setting (non GMP and GMP).
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of work in German and in English, sales driven attitude and flexible to travel within Central Europe if required.
  • Comfortable using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, email, and AI-powered tools for effective collaboration, information sharing, and task management in a digital work environment.
