ROMTech, through its subsidiary ROMTherapyTM, delivers an innovative, first-in-kind home-based cardiac rehabilitation program through the use of telemedicine and connected medical devices.
We are now looking for a Sales Specialist to focus on expanding access to this exciting program. This full-time, remote role will serve hospitals and regional health systems in the Pittsburgh, PA area, reporting directly to the Director, Cardiac – Three Rivers Region.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on ROMTherapy’s at-home cardiac rehab program.
- Develop working relationships with referring staff within assigned healthcare system(s) and offices, including but not limited to medical assistants, administrators, prescribing physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, case managers, social workers, executives, and associated staff members.
- Identify and secure additional referral opportunities for the program within assigned healthcare system(s) and offices.
- Assist referring staff with ordering process, including education on required documentation and method of transmission (fax, email, EMR), retrieval of missing documentation, etc.
- Provide individual and group education (in-services) to healthcare system(s) and office staff on diagnoses accepted for cardiac rehab, including assisting in the cursory screening of appropriate patients for referral.
- When appropriate, present the program to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assist in the creation of educational materials for ROMTherapy.
- Liaise with ROMTherapy account managers and supervisor on healthcare system(s)/office staff concerns and feedback; proactively identify the needs of healthcare system(s) staff and develop solutions alongside supervisor.
- Perform live program demonstrations to healthcare system staff, including use of the Portable Connect and cardiac monitoring accessories.
- Provide regular reports to supervisor on actual and projected patient volumes at assigned location(s).
- Meet or exceed prescription objectives for healthcare system(s) and offices.
- Mentor and coach program liaisons as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, cardiac & medical device a plus!
- Clinical degree, (RN, PT, OT, or EP), preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to travel in region on regular basis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, EMR, CRM and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
- Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
