Practical Decorations designs and manufactures premium, American-made planters used by hotels, municipalities, nurseries, and landscapers across the country. Our durable, UV-protected planters are 100% recyclable, virtually indestructible, and available in a wide variety of styles and finishes. We’re seeking a driven Sales Representative to help us expand our reach into landscaping companies, hotels, nurseries, and property management firms.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect & Qualify: Identify and build relationships with potential clients (landscape firms, hotel groups, nurseries, property managers).
  • Outreach: Use a mix of cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and in-person visits when possible to showcase our planters and explain key benefits.
  • Present & Demo: Schedule and conduct product demonstrations—either virtually or on-site—using samples or digital collateral.
  • Negotiate & Close: Develop proposals, handle contract negotiations, and close deals.
  • Account Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to secure repeat orders and upsell when appropriate.
  • Reporting: Update CRM with pipeline activity, forecasts, and client feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven B2B Sales Experience: 2+ years selling to landscaping, hospitality, retail, or property management sectors (preferred).
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working remotely, able to manage your own schedule, and motivated by commission-only compensation.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive pitches and building rapport quickly.
  • Relationship Builder: Natural at networking, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Tenacious: Resilient mindset with the ability to handle objections and follow up persistently.
  • Familiar with CRM Tools: Comfortable logging activity, tracking deals, and generating reports.
  • 100% Commission: Uncapped commission structure with attractive percentages on net sales.
  • Flexible Schedule: Work remotely with occasional field visits in or around the NYC metro area (travel reimbursement provided).
  • Marketing & Sample Support: Access to marketing collateral, product catalogs, and free samples to help close deals.
  • Growth Opportunities: As we grow, there’s potential for leadership roles and increased commission tiers.
