Widely recognized for excellence in customer service, highly competitive prices, and innovative value-added solutions, Darby works with practices of all sizes, as well as a number of specialties, and government institutions.

As an Inside Sales Equipment Sales Specialist you will work with Darby Dental Supply’s Account Managers to find solutions for the capital equipment needs of their customers. The Equipment Sales Specialist role is an Inside Sales position.

  • Skilled in aligning capital equipment solutions with dental practice needs by effectively engaging decision-makers through education on product features, benefits, and cost considerations.
  • Demonstrates expertise in the full suite of capital equipment product offering.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Account Managers by gathering practice insights, identifying needs, and recommending optimal capital equipment solutions.
  • Understanding sales strategy and aligning efforts to achieve equipment division goals.
  • Identify potential business opportunities by attending trade shows and conventions.
  • Partner with Account Managers to answer customer questions pertaining to competitive equipment lines.
  • Analyze sales activity and performance, and attend equipment department meetings, deliver reporting on sales activity, performance, and goals to help drive results.
  • Attend training to increase product knowledge and increase subject matter expertise.
  • Document and maintain customer interactions and leads in Salesforce.
  • Additional duties and projects, as assigned.
  • 3 to 5 years of business-to-business sales experience, dental sales experience, preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of dental equipment sales experience, preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are required along with the ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals
  • Knowledge of MS Office is required
  • Salesforce or CRM experience, preferred
  • Excellent time management & organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities
  • Ability to travel 25% domestically overnight

  • Base Salary $40,000 annually ($19.23 per hour)


Commission Commission guarantee for 12 months! A guaranteed commission is provided for the first 12 months, bringing total guaranteed first-year earnings to $79,600.
