Job summary

Lightcast is seeking a Sales Solutions Engineer to bridge client ambition with Lightcast innovations. You will translate workforce planning, skills mapping, and competitive talent intelligence into data-driven solutions using Lightcast APIs, Direct Data Shares, and SaaS dashboards for enterprise prospects in the Moscow, ID area.

You will lead technical discovery, design creative solutions, support enterprise sales cycles, and ensure smooth transitions from solution design to implementation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Sales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or other client-facing technical roles.
• Bachelor's degree required; enterprise sales experience with Fortune 500 organizations is a plus.
• Experience designing API integrations or Direct Data Share solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, prototype workflows, and craft demos showing how Lightcast solutions satisfy client use cases.
• Champion the deal by shaping evaluation plans and handling RFIs/RFPs with stakeholders.
• Enable success by hosting post-sale handoffs and solution workshops.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers to speed value, renewals, and expansion.
• Ensure smooth transition from solution design through implementation.

Job description

Sales Solutions Engineer sit at the intersection of client ambition and Lightcast innovation. They help prospects translate business challenges - such as workforce planning, skills mapping, and competitive talent intelligence - into data-driven solutions using Lightcast Job Postings, Social Profiles, APIs, Direct Data Shares, and SaaS dashboards.

This role leads technical discovery, designs creative solutions, supports enterprise sales cycles, and ensures a smooth transition from solution design through implementation

• Consult and design - Lead technical discovery, prototype workflows, and craft persuasive demos showcasing how Lightcast APIs, Direct Data Shares, or SaaS dashboards satisfy client use cases
• Champion the deal - Partner with Account Executives to shape evaluation plans, respond to RFIs/RFPs, negotiate proof-of-concept scope, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned through close
• Enable success - Host post-sale handoffs and solution workshops so onboarding teams can deliver on the vision sold
• Collaborate cross-functionally - Align on success plans with Account Managers and share deal context and technical artifacts to speed time to value, renewals, and expansion

• 1-3 years of experience as a Sales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or in a comparable client-facing technical role.
• Bachelor's degree required; experience supporting enterprise sales, particularly with Fortune 500 organizations, is a plus.
• Experience designing API integrations or Direct Data Share solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to support quota-carrying sales teams and contribute to revenue growth.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to create clear solution briefs, deliver live product demonstrations, and explain complex data-driven solutions.
• Working knowledge of modern large language models and experience applying them to solution development or client enablement.
