Job summary

Crawl Space Ninja in Knoxville, TN is seeking a full-time Sales/Service Technician to drive sales from existing customers, inspect and service equipment, and represent the company on every visit.

You will travel in a company vehicle, build lasting relationships, and recommend additional services such as crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and floor support repairs.

Qualifications

• One or more years of proven commission-driven sales experience.
• Proven customer relations experience, with in-home services preferred.
• Skill in operating construction equipment and/or power tools preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of sales experience is preferred.
• A valid, non-restrictive Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Attending appointments scheduled by a Customer Care Representative.
• Travel to a customer’s home for a pre-set appointment using a company vehicle.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and professionally represent Crawl Space Ninja.
• Recommend additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a potential issue by following the sales process.
• Perform yearly maintenance visits, examining previously completed work.
• Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix any issues.
• Install the additional products purchased by the customer as necessary.
• Adhere to safety/health regulations and procedures when carrying out construction operations.
• Examine work done by the company and determine potential warranty or non-warranty work.
• Communicate the status of each job (completions and complications) and submit all necessary Documentation to the Service Manager/Job Coordinator.
• All other duties as required

Brief Job Description

A Service Technician is an integral part of the customer’s experience after their initial installation. Service Technicians travel to our customers’ homes in a company-provided vehicle to inspect and service preexisting equipment installed by Crawl Space Ninja or by competitors. The Service Technician drives sales from existing customers by recommending additional floor support repair, crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and other services and upgrades. Crawl Space Ninja provides qualified, high-quality warm sales lead appointments.

• Salary plus sales commission compensation
