Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a Sales Associate Team Leader at our Northampton, MA location. The role is full-time with open availability shifts and offers customer-focused leadership in a busy retail setting.

You will greet customers, handle transactions, manage stock, and support store operations with attention to cash handling and compliance. Prior retail experience in leadership is preferred, and the position emphasizes teamwork and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner and provides fast, efficient service.
• Rings sales on the cash register, handles money, gives change, and processes refunds or exchanges.
• Assist with shift change by counting cash at the start and end of a shift.
• Process money orders, card transactions, checks and lottery sales as needed.
• Check identifications for restricted sales and manage stock replenishment.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and service areas following proper procedures.
• Stock shelves and rotate merchandise; remove damaged items per policy.
• Receive and check vendor deliveries and complete training evaluations as required.
