Miller Poultry in Orland, IN is seeking a seasoned Sales/Marketing Manager to monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities, and to help shape product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy.

The role collaborates with sales and production units, represents the company at trade shows, and drives relationships with industry partners to expand our client base. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in meat merchandising preferred.

• 5+ years experience in Meat Manager, Lead cutter or equal role.

• Participates in advertising and promotion activities
• Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy
• Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Represents company at trade shows and meetings to promote product
• Coordinating liaison between sales department and other production units
• Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of client base expansion
• Communicates effectively with co-management, internal and external customers
• Responds to complaints within 24 hours or sooner
• Assists in sales presentations with new customers and market level training with existing clients
• Demos products at store level or trade shows
• Monitors and gives product quality feedback on company brands and competitors’ products
• Provides Daily Service reports, weekly summaries and monthly expense reports

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

With roots in northeast Indiana, we are a family-owned company that has been raising and processing organic and all-natural chicken with the help of local farm families for over 30 years.
