Job Summary
  • Within Robertet’s Flavor division, the Sales Service Coordinator works closely with Account Managers by being the initial point of contact for our customers. You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring timely communication and delivery of samples, documents, information, and products through engagement of various internal teams (Technical, Regulatory, Quality, Customer Service, Production) following the project lifecycle process from start to finish. This role is instrumental to maximizing the company’s potential for success.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Manage project entry/initiation and completion
    • Ensure effective communication with all internal teams throughout the project process to meet our customers’ needs
    • Prioritize the entry/initiation of customer requests for samples, documents, and information and provide timely communication and delivery to our customers
    • Utilize various customer‑identified sites/platforms for providing documents and information
    • Engage appropriate parties to resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle
    • Develop an understanding of customer's products, requirements, and procedures
    • Facilitate project meetings with cross‑functional team
    • Work with Account Managers to maintain an accurate representation of project pipeline and communicate anticipated changes in business demands to internal teams (new business wins, discontinuations, replacements)
    • Create and maintain customer contact information in our project management software
    • Prepare pricing that meets customer requirements while achieving desired gross profit margins
    • Prepare sales reports as needed
    • Participate in customer visits and product tastings
    • May be assigned to special projects or internal initiatives as needed
    • Perform various administrative duties as needed
  • Position Requirements
    • Required:
      • Associate degree or 2 years of industry experience
      • Proficient in Excel
    • Preferred:
      • Bachelor's degree
      • 5 years sales service/customer service experience (flavor Industry)
      • Oracle experience
