Performance Foodservice is seeking an outside sales professional to grow a local book of business in Ventura and surrounding areas. You will own end-to-end relationships with independent restaurants and other customers, driving new business and account expansion.

Training salary with uncapped commissions after training, plus monthly and annual bonuses, creates a performance-driven environment within a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales experience
• 2+ years of sales in foodservice is ideal
• Territory Ventura area knowledge preferred

A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

Job Description:

• Training salary + plus Uncapped Commissions after training, monthly bonus, and annual bonus incentives! Recognition and awards including top performer incentive trips.
• Outside sales role selling to independent accounts responsible for winning new business & expanding accounts. Owning end-to-end relationship with customers. This is an opportunity to build, grow, and maintain your own book of business.
• This is a supportive, high-performing team and a culture that values collaboration, trust, and winning the right way.
• The territory will be local to Ventura & the surrounding areas.
• 2+ years of working experience as a chef, sous chef, or restaurant general manager is ideal.
• 2+ years working experience in competitive sales in foodservice industry most preferred.
