Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is seeking entry-level sales professionals in Chicago to build a career with an industry leader. You will engage in relationship-building, negotiate freight deals, and manage shipments from pickup to delivery with paid, hands-on training.

Initial compensation ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 in the first year, plus uncapped commissions. The company notes six-figure earnings after three years, with relocation options and a Fast Track program.

Responsibilities

• Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives.
• Help your account executive solve customer needs, find carriers for time-sensitive freight and manage daily operations.
• Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions.
• Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling.
• Build your book and establish relationships to close new customers.
• Negotiate prices with customers and carriers.
• Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
