Pittsburgh, PA Metro Area Territory -

Turf and Ornamental Sales Representative will be responsible for the continued business development with golf courses, lawn care operators, parks and recreation departments, school districts, and sports turf managers. They will build complete agronomic plans including fertilizer, seed, disease, pest, and water management programs for customers.

Work out of home office - reporting to Division Marketing Manager

What you will do:

Plan and develop customer turf and ornamental plans, including fertilizer, seed, disease, pest, and water management program portfolios
Strengthen customer business plans, profitably and sustainably
Expand customer’s trust to be the agronomic business partner of choice
Integrate and position proprietary products into customer business plans
Recognize and communicate company finance programs when applicable
Keep confidential customer information, accurate records, and organized business plans
Make safety a daily priority
Other duties as required

What you will bring:

2+ years’ experience in agronomy sales for Turf, Ornamental, Plant Health Care, Chemicals and Fertilizer
Demonstrated leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands
Proficient use of computer programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
