Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions in California is seeking a results-oriented agronomy expert to guide product strategies and support data-driven decisions. You will leverage your knowledge of turf and ornamental practices, agronomic inquiries, and market intelligence to help grow retail product lines while upholding Nutrien's safety and integrity standards.

This role requires a university degree in business agriculture or equivalent, and comfort using SAP ERP and Microsoft Office to analyze data and report

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on agronomic inquiries for products and customers.
• Develop and implement agronomic product strategies.
• Support and collaborate on the strategic division of emerging products and technologies.
• Collect, compile, transform, and analyze data that can be communicated with market intelligence and market research information.
• Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and division events.
• Accountable for growth and training on the sustainable growth of retail products and services.
• Assist with tracking sales, operational metrics, capital budgets and branch performance.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of modern Turf & Ornamental practices and industry regulations.
• Apply advanced understanding of branch operations, products, services, and equipment.
• Utilize SAP ERP and Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn suggested does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure. The salary range for this role, in California and Nevada location, is between $60,000 - $80.000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location. We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid vacation, sick days and holidays as well as paid personal and maternity/parental leaves and an Employee and Family Assistance Program.
