Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop customer accounts.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Communicate daily with customers.
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and uses.
• Recommend products to customers based on needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Negotiate details of contracts and payments; prepare sales contracts and orders.
• Collect payment and manage sales records.
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports; filing expense accounts.

A Japanese food trading company in Honolulu is hiring for a Restaurant Sales Representative position.

【Essential Duties】

• Responsible for maintenance and development of customer accounts
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
• Communicate daily with customers
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and uses
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
• Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms
• Collect payment
• Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
• Other duties as required to support on-going sales and other branch operational needs
