Job summary

C&J Industries, Inc. in Meadville, PA seeks a Sales Representative to develop and maintain customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and advise customers on injection molded plastic products and assembly manufacturing.

The role targets meeting sales goals, presenting proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently. Traveling ~35–45% is required, with location flexibility across remote, hybrid, or on-site settings.

Qualifications

• Four year Marketing or Communications degree, or 3–5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and plastic solutions.
• Experience in Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Packaging markets and a strong network of customer relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide support and advice to customers regarding injection molded plastic products and assembly manufacturing.
• Meet sales targets, present proposals and presentations, and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35%–45% or more.

Summary

Location can be remote, hybrid, or on-site. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and providing support and advice to customers regarding injection molded plastic products and assembly manufacturing. Additional duties include meeting sales targets, presenting proposals and presentations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently. Willingness to travel ~35% to 45% or more is required.

Requirements

Four (4) Year Marketing or Communications degree; or three (3) to five (5) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of injection molding processes and plastic solutions.Experience in Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Packaging markets and a strong network of customer relationships are preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing and quality teams.Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other business software.Must maintain a high level of professionalism in behavior, attitude and personal appearance as well as in difficult situations.
