Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Baton Rouge is seeking an Area Manager to lead a geographical sales territory, develop and execute business plans, and achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives.

The role requires frequent customer calls, strong presentation and time-management skills, and the ability to travel locally to build new business and support branded products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of industry related experience or a Culinary school degree considered equivalent experience.
• Outside sales experience in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic and attention to details, excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Position requires extensive local travel; valid driver’s license and clean MVR with dependable transportation.
• Infrequent lifting of 25–30 pounds may be required.
• Post-offer background and drug test are required.
