Job summary

West Shore Home in Kansas City, MO is seeking an In-Home Sales Representative to deliver our sales method at customers’ homes and secure agreements for remodel products and services.

You will work with pre-set warm leads on a rotating schedule, close sales with a consultative approach, and enjoy a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, and a first-year earnings potential around $200K.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly connect with customers in any environment.
• Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Previous sales experience or customer-facing background.

Responsibilities

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule: Weeks 1–2 Mon–Fri 9:00–19:00; Weeks 3–4 Tue–Fri 9:00–19:00 and Sat 9:00–14:00.
• No cold-calling; all leads are warm and pre-set; sell to customers.
• Sit with customers at their homes to provide product consultations.
• Communicate value of products and installation quality.
• Work with customers to find budget-friendly options.
• Close sales and complete post-sale activities.
• Sales appointments last about 2 hours.

Purpose Of Position

An In-Home Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for all customers by delivering the West Shore Home sales method to secure customer agreements to purchase our products and services.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule:
  • Weeks 1–2: Mon–Fri, available 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Weeks 3–4: Tues–Fri (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
• No cold-calling or lead generation- all leads are warm and pre-set. We want you to do what you do best- selling!
• Sit down with potential customers at their homes to provide an in-depth consultant on our products.
• Communicate the value of our products and of our installation quality.
• Work with the customer to find options that work inside their budget.
• Close sales with customers and provide required post sale activity.
• Sales appointments run for approximately 2 hours.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to quickly connect with anyone in an environment
• A competitive nature with a drive to succeed
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous sales experience but we’ve also seen great success with professionals from retail, hospitality, and other customer-facing roles
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
