Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking an In-Home Sales Representative in Kansas City, MO. You will meet with homeowners, present remodeling solutions for bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors, and guide them through the purchase decision.

The role features a rotating schedule, warm leads, a competitive base with uncapped commissions, and an ambitious first-year earnings potential up to $200K. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

• Previous sales experience is helpful; success from retail, hospitality or customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule: Weeks 1–2 Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Weeks 3–4 Tue–Fri 9:00 AM–7:00 PM and Sat 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
• No cold-calling or lead generation; all leads are warm and pre-set
• Sit with potential customers at their homes to provide an in-depth product consultation
• Communicate the value of West Shore Home products and installation quality
• Work with customers to find options that fit their budget
• Close sales and complete required post-sale activity
• Sales appointments run for approximately 2 hours

Purpose of Position:

An In-Home Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for all customers by delivering the West Shore Home sales method to secure customer agreements to purchase our products and services.

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule:
  • Weeks 1–2:Mon–Fri, available 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Weeks 3–4:Tues–Fri (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)

• Sit down with potential customers at their homes to provide an in-depth consultant on our products.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous sales experience but we’ve also seen great success with recent grads and those from retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
