Job description

We are looking for a Sales Representative/Account Manager to help us manage key customer relationships while growing and developing new business. As a Trex Sales Representative/Account Manager, you will be the main contact for territory distributor locations, managing the distributor network and prospecting for new accounts. This role is a key member of our Field Sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Put safety first - Always!
  • Lead and foster our "people first" culture
  • Serve as primary contact for day-to-day responsibilities for all top distributor locations within your territory.
  • Develop and leverage strong business relationships with key distributor contacts at each branch location.
  • Maintain established call frequency with geographic contacts, national account customers, Home Depot district managers, and builder contacts.
  • Manage existing dealer network and prospect for new accounts and markets.
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan with the Regional/District Sales Manager.
  • Establish KPI targets and develop plans to achieve them.
  • Manage travel and expense budgets effectively.
  • Manage co-op funding within primary distributor responsibilities.
Travel Requirements

This position requires 3-5 overnight trips per month within the territory for meetings, trainings, and conferences. A valid driver's license is required.

Experience

Proven sales success is essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates with at least 3 years of outside sales experience can apply for the Sales Representative role; those with 5+ years for the Account Manager role. Without a degree, 6+ or 8+ years of experience respectively are required.

Salary

Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 annually, plus potential bonuses based on sales performance. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and location.
