Archadeck Outdoor Living is seeking a Design Consultant in Michigan to translate client needs into beautiful outdoor living spaces. The role blends residential design with sales, requiring strong communication, presentation, and project management skills to guide customers from concept to close.

You will present custom solutions, follow up on leads, maintain product knowledge, and build lasting client relationships while meeting sales goals and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent visualization, design sense, and math skills.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a proven ability to meet quotas.
• Comfort with modern technology and communication tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Quick learner who is collaborative and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell custom outdoor living solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Follow up on all leads from marketing, referrals, self-generation, and trade partners.
• Qualify prospects, deliver presentations, prepare proposals, and close sales following the company’s documented process.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Maintain product knowledge of decks, porches, and outdoor living categories.
• Manage client database, prepare status reports, and track progress toward sales goals.
• Handle contract administration and payment follow-up per company terms.

We are seeking a motivated Design Consultant with strong residential design skills, the ability to understand customer needs, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor living spaces.
