Archadeck of Southeast Michigan is looking for a motivated Design Consultant to present and sell custom outdoor living solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sense and the ability to understand customer needs, with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

Archadeck Outdoor Living is North America’s leading designer and builder of custom decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures. We are seeking a motivated Design Consultant with strong residential design skills, the ability to understand customer needs, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. Previous sales experience is a plus, but excellent communication, customer service, and a strong work ethic are required.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell custom outdoor living solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Follow up on all leads from marketing, referrals, self-generation, and trade partners.
• Qualify prospects, deliver presentations, prepare proposals, and close sales following the company’s documented process.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Maintain product knowledge of decks, porches, and outdoor living categories.
• Manage client database, prepare status reports, and track progress toward sales goals.
• Handle contract administration and payment follow-up per company terms.
