GVD Renovations & Remodeling is seeking a Decking Sales Representative in California to meet with homeowners, present decking solutions, and close sales for outdoor renovation projects. You will estimate quotes, draw basic deck designs, and build lasting client relationships to drive growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet with residential customers to understand their decking needs and preferences
• Present and promote decking and railing products and installation services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Provide accurate quotes and estimates for decking projects
• Draw basic deck designs to help customers visualize their projects
• Close sales and achieve or exceed sales targets
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively educate customers

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, specifically with decking products
• Experience with deck design is preferred
• Ability to draw basic deck designs
• Understanding of construction codes related to decking
• In-home sales experience is a must
• Must have worked as an in-home sales consultant for an exterior renovation company in the past
• Proven experience in deck sales or deck building
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of decking products from DuraLife, Deckorators, DekPro, Fiberon, and Barrette Outdoor Living is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
