Job Location:Eastern or Western Coast, USA (Remote/Home Office with Travel)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field, with a proven track record in sales. This role will focus on promoting and selling our portfolio of recombinant proteins, cytokines, and growth factors to academic institutions, research organizations, and biopharmaceutical companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, addressing their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical support teams to drive product awareness and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote company products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to potential customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers and support business development efforts (up to 50% travel).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the biotechnology, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of recombinant proteins, cytokines, and growth factors, and their applications in research and drug development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to academic, government, and biopharmaceutical customers.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the biotechnology industry.
  • Established network of contacts in the life sciences or biopharmaceutical sectors.
