WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Organize your time around competing demands to meet agreed upon sales targets.
  • Primary focus will be on the fastener market.
  • Ability to service a variety of different fastener tools.
  • Become an expert on our products and services while leading business development efforts, such as: following up with incoming leads, scheduling meetings with prospective customers and cold calling.
  • Close deals and advocate for your customers by providing them with resources and tools that meet their needs.
  • Spend time out in the field proactively developing relationships and keeping customers up to date on their order status, managing deliveries and any account-related issues with timely resolution.
  • Generate leads within the local community by walking into businesses and setting appointments.
  • Design and present solutions-driven materials that align with our desired growth and sales metrics.

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU

  • Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year of prior sales or business development experience within the construction industry and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
    A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Network in our Industry – You have knowledge of our industry, are mechanically inclined, and already have an established network of relationships with potential to expand your reach.
  • Deliver Results - You always find a solution when a challenge is presented and deliver it. Communicate Exceptionally – You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Put in Work – The opportunities excite you, and you’re ready to put in the hard work and dedication to succeed.
  • Focus on the Details – You have a meticulous eye for detail and never miss a deadline • Relate to our Customers - You develop close relationships with your customers and treat them like family.
  • Solve Problems – You are passionate about selling products to help customers overcome problems and provide them with a solution.
  • Meet the Physical Demands – You’re able to lift at least 50 pounds of customer product on a regular basis and 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus!
