Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to cover and grow the Portland/Seattle territory in the Pacific Northwest. The role focuses on calling on existing accounts, acquiring new ones, and driving product and marketing programs. You will service dealers and distributors, forecast sales, and travel to meet customers and attend boat shows to maximize market share.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in marine industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building relationships with customers.
• Ability to independently make decisions and assess risk while offering workable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing accounts and establish new ones within the Pacific Northwest territory.
• Sales, management, and implementation of product and marketing programs; forecast new and existing products.
• Provide knowledge of products and marketing strategies to a diversified customer base.
• Support dealer retail and distributor sales to maximize market share in the territory.

Our ideal candidates will live in Pacific Northwest - Portland/Seattle, WA area, to be able to effectively service our customers within this territory.Comprehensive benefits package to include 401k with Profit Sharing and Company Match!**At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.**Essential Functions:- Calling on existing accounts, establishing new accounts by either cold calling or with leads supplied by the company within an assigned territory.- Responsible for the sale, management, and implementing of product and marketing programs, forecasting of new and existing products.- Provide knowledge of products and marketing strategies to diversified customer base.- Support dealer retail and distributor sales activity to achieve maximum sales and market share in assigned territory. Maintain up to date information on assigned dealer accounts.- Monitor and learn market area information and communicate information to Management. Up-sell and cross-sell, suggesting product substitutes where applicable.- Execute sales and marketing programs and services.- Handle customer complaints and exceptions requests with minimal management intervention.- Maintain internal supportive working relationship with credit, technical service manager, customer service representative, sales coordinators, sales directors and marketing manager.- Travel for sales calls to territory customers and attendance at regional boat shows, sales meetings, etc. as deemed appropriate.**Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.**Required Qualifications: - HS diploma required, College degree in business or related field preferred- 3-5 years' experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry- PC proficiency with Microsoft programs- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for developing strong relationships with customers- Ability to independently make accurate decisions and analyze risk, while reasoning through issues and suggesting workable solutions This position is 100% commission-based, allowing you to earn based on your performance and sales achievements. Actual earnings will depend on various factors, including your sales skills, experience, market conditions, and individual performance.
