Job summary

Hydrex Pest Control Co. of San Diego is seeking a Pest & Termite Sales Representative to grow Branch 2 pest control and Branch 3 termite services across the San Diego area.

This hybrid role blends inside pest control sales with outside termite sales, serving residential customers with some commercial opportunities. You will develop your own leads, build relationships, and manage a pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current applicable California Branch 2 and Branch 3 licensing required.
• Pest control and termite industry knowledge and experience required.
• Sales, inspection, or business-development experience in related services preferred.
• Ability to independently prospect and generate new business.
• Comfortable with both inside and field sales, and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound pest control leads and inquiries.
• Prospect for and generate new residential and commercial business.
• Build relationships throughout the San Diego market for referrals.
• Explain inspection findings and recommend Branch 2 pest control solutions.
• Conduct on-site termite inspections and sales appointments.
• Prepare and present pest control and termite proposals, pricing, and recommendations.
• Sell termite treatments, preventative services, and related solutions.
• Follow up on open estimates and leads; cross-sell services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate customer, inspection, proposal, and sales records.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations to ensure smooth handoffs.

Join the Hydrex Team:

Hydrex Pest Control is looking for a motivated Pest & Termite Sales Representative to help grow our Branch 2 pest control and Branch 3 termite services throughout the San Diego area.

This is a hybrid sales role combining inside pest control sales with outside termite sales, giving the right person the opportunity to work across both sides of our business. The position will primarily serve residential customers, with some commercial opportunities as they arise.

This is a growth-focused sales role. You'll work company-generated opportunities while also taking ownership of developing your own leads, building relationships, prospecting for new business, and growing a healthy pipeline of residential and commercial customers.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to inbound pest control leads and customer inquiries.
• Independently prospect for and generate new residential and commercial business.
• Build relationships throughout the San Diego market that create referral and ongoing business opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Branch 2 pest control solutions.
• Conduct on-site termite inspections and sales appointments.
• Evaluate properties for termite activity, damage, and conditions that may contribute to termite concerns.
• Clearly explain inspection findings and treatment options to customers.
• Prepare and present pest control and termite proposals, pricing, and recommendations.
• Sell termite treatments, preventative services, wood repair, and related solutions.
• Consistently follow up on open estimates, proposals, leads, and prospective customers.
• Cross-sell Branch 2 and Branch 3 services when appropriate.
• Build long-term customer relationships through a consultative, solution-focused sales approach.
• Maintain accurate customer, inspection, proposal, prospecting, and sales documentation.
• Partner with customer service, scheduling, technicians, and operations to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service.
• Meet established sales, revenue, prospecting, activity, and conversion expectations.

What We're Looking For:

• Current applicable California Branch 2 and Branch 3 licensing required.
• Pest control and termite industry knowledge and experience required.
• Sales, inspection, or business-development experience within pest control, termite services, home services, or a related industry strongly preferred.
• Proven ability and willingness to independently prospect and generate new business.
• Comfortable balancing company-generated opportunities with self-generated leads.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with both phone/text-based inside sales and face-to-face field sales.
• Confident presenting recommendations, discussing pricing, and closing sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple leads, appointments, estimates, and prospects.
• Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with the Hydrex team.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment background screening.
• Ability to travel throughout the San Diego service area.
