Job summary

Amrize is expanding in North America and seeks a Sales Representative to connect with current and prospective clients, prepare proposals, and service existing accounts. The role focuses on building relationships, delivering value, and supporting project-level sales objectives.

You will engage customers over the phone and in person, coordinate with marketing for materials, and contribute to safety and process improvements across the territory.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
  • Field of Study Preferred: Marketing.
  • Required Work Experience: 1-3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain rapport with accounts and client publishers to sustain positive business relationships.
  • Plan visits to existing accounts and follow up on new leads and referrals.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and contacts; address customer needs and issues.
  • Represent the department at meetings and industry events to support sales goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Serves as liaison between customers and Company by identifying and contacting current and prospective clients, generating sales proposals, and servicing existing accounts.Ensures quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Plans and schedules visits to existing accounts in assigned territory per timeframe set by the department; suggests products for account to order, and facilitates problems to be corrected; establishes and maintains rapport with accounts and client publishers in order to continue a positive business relationship for the department.
  • Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Attends operational meetings and participates in strategic planning for the enterprise. Represents the department at regional and national industry conferences and trade exhibits.
  • Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials; works with marketing staff to develop and produce specialty sale materials as needed.
  • Oversees new and existing account services through quality checks and other follow-up as specified per department requirements; identifies and resolves client concerns.
  • Prepares a variety of status reports, including trends in territory, upcoming events, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information, concerns or feedback gathered through field activity.
  • Addresses and resolves customer service inquiries, requests and complaints.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred: Marketing

Required Work Experience: 1-3 years

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE") , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
